It has been a difficult year of overcoming obstacles for everyone, but the Four Mounds Ropes Course has experienced a particularly trying past 12 months. In 2019, a terrible storm ripped through the Course, destroying almost half the High Ropes and creating a colAQossal mess for the staff to clean up. This alone could have spelled the end for the Four Mounds Ropes Course and Team Building Blocks, but resiliency at Four Mounds is strong. A complete rebuild of the Course was scheduled for the spring of 2020; then COVID-19 and subsequent lockdowns hit the US and sent us all reeling.
Thanks to both local and federal funding, the Four Mounds Ropes Course still has a chance to make its impact on our community in 2020. We have taken the lemons we were served and are making lemonade out of the situation. Not only are we rebuilding, we are building new elements and improving the ones we already have. We will take groups of 10 or less by July, and we hope to fully open by August. We are taking reservations now!
