Four Mounds Adventure Day Camp Lives On!
We are excited to announce that the long-standing Four Mounds Adventure Day Camp will continue to serve families in the tri-state area! While public funding has been cut, the Four Mounds Ropes Course has stepped up to keep this important community benefit alive. We hope to host as many young campers as in years past, and we haven’t changed the overall experience which has been successfully for many years.
Join us this summer for a week full of outdoor adventures! Campers will spend the week on our vast Lows & Highs ropes courses, canoeing, camping, fishing, crawdad hunting, and hiking at several of our local nature preserves like Swiss Valley and Mines of Spain. All of these adventures are supplemented with educational resources and lessons, so that not only will campers have fun but also go home with more knowledge about the natural world around them.
Adventure Day Camp Itinerary
Week 1: June 15-19, Ages 7-10
Week 2: June 22-26, Ages 9-12
Week 3: July 6-10, Ages 12-15
Week 4 July 13-17, Ages 9-12
We do hope to offer more weeks of camp but that will depend on the camper interest this year.
